One of the best and literally unchanged cleaning tool in most homes is the humble vacuum cleaner. Sure it’s seen a fair bit of change over time. But the last couple of decades it’s really just been adding fancy bells and whistles to the same basic principle.
The vast majority of mid to high end modern vacuums have done away with bags and now employ plastic bins instead. This makes them so much easier to empty than fighting with those old dusty bags.
That means they need to use filters to separate the dust from the air (which is the job the bag used to do).
The setup in a typical modern vacuum cleaner looks like this, air is suctioned up from the ground, passing through the filter, which then deposits any dirt found into the plastic bin. The rest of the air is sent through the exhaust system and back into the room. It’s really pretty simple.
Below you will find a nice selection of vacuum cleaners, hopefully the right one for you is listed.
